Ditton Heritage Centre is a local charity dedicated to preserving and sharing the history of the village of Ditton. The centre is based in a former Victorian school building (New Road, Ditton, ME20 6AE) and houses a collection of local historical books, documents, photographs and artefacts. In particular, we hold a number of maps showing Ditton and its surrounding villages as they were before the Second World War.
We hold regular open days during the summer and offer a Victorian classroom experience for schools and groups. We can also host cream teas and other small events on request.

News and events:
We will hosting a Children's Easter Egg Hunt between 10:00am and 12:00pm on Saturday 19th April 2025. Entry is £2.50 and all children must be accompanied by a responsible adult. The trail will begin and end at Ditton Heritage Centre and there will be a prize for successfully completing it.
We will be running a series of open days this year between 10:00am and 3 :00pm at Ditton Heritage Centre on the following dates:

- Sunday 10th August 2025
- Sunday 14th September 2025
- Sunday 21st September 2025
- Sunday 26th October 2025
We will also be hosting two craft fairs at Ditton Community Centre on 27th April and 12th October 2025.
